MOLASSES

This by-product of sugar production is marketed for use in animal feed concentrates and the production of alcohol for both local and export markets.

ENERGY

Generated from renewable sources through biomass combustion (sugarcane fiber residue called bagasse), it both powers mill operations and supplies electricity to the national grid. We bring light to 238,000 homes. That is 7% of the country's electricity consumption.
